For the fourth consecutive year, Minnesota United is hyping up for the Home Opener with a season kickoff concert at legendary First Avenue! This yearâs event promises to be extra special with an incredible lineup of local talent and all proceeds donated to help our community in a time of acute need.
The Minnesota United Kickoff Concert will take place on Tuesday, February 24. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with live music starting at 6:30 p.m. The nightâs lineup is headlined by Durry, a Minnesota-based, brother-sister indie rock band whose viral track âWhoâs Laughing Nowâ propelled them into stardom.
The stage will also host Duluth-based grunge rocker Sophie Hiroko, recognized by First Ave as one of the Best New Bands of 2025, and Minnesotan âprairie rockâ group Keep for Cheap. The event will feature local artist Sophia Eris as DJ and emcee throughout the night. Sophiaâs work has taken her on tour with Lizzo and in the studio with Prince.
On top of all this talent, there will be plenty of Black and Blue at this epic event â PK in attendance, players signing autographs, and more!
All proceeds from this event will be donated to local nonprofit Keystone Community Services. From food shelf initiatives to youth employment programs and in-home senior care, Keystone is doing phenomenal work in our community to improve the quality of life for individuals, families, seniors, and youth, especially in this period of turmoil.Â
Thereâs no better way to count down to kickoff than a Tuesday night full of music, Loons, and community. Get your tickets here.
