By collaborating with local clubs, we have found ways to ensure that the top players in Minnesota have development opportunities at their local club as well as with our academy staff in our Discovery ID camps. MNUFC Pre-Academy
MNUFC’s Academy program starts at the U15 level, but talent identification starts far sooner. That’s where our Pre-Academy program comes in. This program is for players between the U11 and U14 age groups, enabling our club to identify and cultivate talent as players get closer and closer to Academy soccer.
MNUFC2
Since 2022, MNUFC2 has been the bridge between the Academy and the first team. It’s a proving ground and an opportunity, a competitive team in its own right and an important piece of the bigger puzzle that is Minnesota United. This is where tomorrows stars come before they light up the league.

Get to Know the Grounds
The Academy trains at the National Sports Center, a 600-acre multisport complex located in Blaine, Minnesota. With more than 50 full-sized soccer fields — including the fields used by the first and second teams — our Academy athletes have access to one of the most impressive athletic facilities in the world.
