Anyone else have a Beanie Baby™ collection as a kid? Let us do you one better. We’re happy to announce MNUFC babies in beanies. We don’t have this trademarked, but we can promise it’s really, really cute.

This February, Minnesota United is partnering with Allina Health to provide some lucky winter babies with the cutest merch you’ve ever seen. Starting February 17, every newborn born at any of the eight Minnesota birth centers in the Allina Health system will get the best birthday gift anyone could ask for: a custom Minnesota United beanie.

The complimentary beanies run through the entire Countdown to Kickoff period, which ends March 1 with United’s match against CF Montréal. Beanies will continue to be distributed beyond March 1 while supplies last.

Families are encouraged to post pictures of their babies in beanies and tag @MNUFC and @AllinaHealth! We want to see your little Loons keeping warm in the February chill.

Who knows? Maybe they’ll grow up to become a famous soccer player, and that beanie will have been the start of their great career.
