At Minnesota United, community involvement goes all the way to our four-legged furry friends. We’re happy to partner with NutriSource to recognize a NutriSource SuperStar at each home game — the honor is given to a deserving dog who provides service or therapy to the community, in an effort to highlight the service of our local K9s. Read all about our devoted dogs below.

Inka

Inka

Inka is a facility dog at University of Masonic Children's Hospital. She works together with her handlers who are both Certified Child Life Specialists to provide support and normalization for patient and families receiving treatment. Inka provides motivation for movement with playing fetch or walks on the unit floors. Inka also provides comfort during procedures by snuggling a patient during a poke. Inka has been impacting patients for the last two years and is always up for celebrating patients' wins!

Sgt. Annie

Sgt. Annie

Sgt. Annie is a lab and border collie rescue who is 4 and a half years old. Annie's handler, Rylie adopted her when she was a 6 month old puppy, and it is questionable who rescued who. Annie helps Rylie train future service dogs and their human counterparts at The Spot and some of her favorite places to work include trips to Mall of America and the Minnesota Zoo! When Annie is not working, she loves to chase squirrels, play chase, and snuggle with her favorite people!

Brooksy

Brooksy

Brooksy is trained in tactile redirection and alerts his handler to changes in their body and metabolic state. In Brooksy’s free time, he enjoys going on long walks around the neighborhood and through his local parks and also playing fetch. It’s hard to miss when Brooksy is on his best behavior because he is always rewarded with a treat from NutriSource.
