Match Presented by Federated Insurance

After a brief interlude for Leagues Cup, the Loons are back to regular-season play for the final stretch of the season, taking on the Colorado Rapids for the first time this year. The Loons and the Rapids have an even head-to-head record of 7-7-3 (WLD) all time, and Sunday presents the opportunity for a tiebreaker.

In their last five regular-season matchups, the third-place Loons have lost only one game, and every point is critical with the top of the West in extremely close quarters. The Rapids have already been active in the transfer window, adding English Premier League defender Rob Holding to their lineup and reportedly selling iconic midfielder and top scorer Djordje Mihailovic to Toronto FC. Colorado sits at ninth in the West, hovering right above the play-in line for playoffs, and will be on a mission over the next few months to find more solid footing.

We also celebrate our first-ever Kids Game this weekend, making way for some of our super-cool young fans to take part in some exciting opportunities. Read on for more info on the evening’s special theme and the MNUFC Unified match taking place just after the game.

Before You Leave

  • Plan your route to the stadium by reading up on our parking and transit options. Be aware of active construction on I-94, and if you plan on taking the Green Line, be aware of the temporary bus replacement.
  • Get your parking pass in advance via SeatGeek.com to guarantee your spot and save time at the lots.
  • Check out our clear bag policy so you don’t have to stash your bag in a bush!
  • Reminder that you CAN bring empty, clear, plastic water bottles into the stadium. If your water bottle doesn’t meet that standard, you’ll have to leave it at home. Even if it’s made of 100% pure titanium and can be taken to the bottom of the ocean, it can’t be taken into Allianz Field.
  • Bring your card. Allianz Field is a cashless facility.
  • Download the MNUFC app for ticket access, stadium maps, Supporters Chants, and a whole lot more.

Water Sustainability with Ecolab

Make sure to get to the stadium early to enjoy a free commemorative water bottle sticker celebrating the 2025 season in partnership with Ecolab, a global company based in Saint Paul whose innovative water management solutions help customers succeed while protecting people and the resources vital to life. Water stations around the concourse will provide stickers to the first 1,000 fans to swing by — collect the exclusive stickers as a reminder to conserve water and help protect our communities.

As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.

Welcome Tommy Schweinitz

Join MNUFC and Make-A-Wish Minnesota in granting a wish for Tommy Schweinitz, a 17-year-old soccer player from Minneapolis who was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma in 2024. After making the difficult decision to amputate his leg, Tommy has continued to pursue his athletic dreams (and remained a diehard Loons fan). We’re excited to grant his wish of becoming a pro soccer player with MNUFC with a ceremonial kickoff at the match!

Unified Match

Stick around after the match for even more electric soccer as MNUFC Unified takes to the pitch in an intrasquad matchup — Starry Night vs. Convergence! The Unified Squad is composed of players both with and without intellectual disabilities and has been repping the club since 2017 as part of a league partnership with Special Olympics and the help of presenting sponsor Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. Fans can move to sections 30 through 34 to see the action, which will take place in two 20-minute halves.
