What a time to be a Loon, folks. Your Boys in Black and Blue are on a seven-game undefeated streak, sit just behind first-place Vancouver in the Western Conference, and — just when you thought it couldn’t get any better — are coming back home this weekend! These state birds take on FC Dallas on Saturday in a Loons-versus-Bulls matchup that’ll put any rodeo to shame. Coming off a scoreless draw with Toronto, Minnesota needs a three-point match to keep up the momentum, as they face off against a Dallas side that is undefeated on the road and hungry for victory after a home loss. Minnesota will need to keep Dallas’ Lucho and Petar Musa out of the net while pressing for chances on the attack if they hope to end the evening with a rousing rendition of everyone’s favorite Oasis ballad.
Gear of the Game: One Planet Pre-Match Jerseys
Inspired by reforestation and natural ecosystems, MLS players this weekend will be sporting adidas One Planet pre-match jerseys in celebration of Earth Week. These “One Planet, One Chance” jerseys are made from recycled materials and will be available at the Black and Blue Team Store and MLSstore.com.
In-Game Honors
The pregame ceremony will include a national anthem performance from Joseph Kastner. Sara Barron-Leer of Allina Health’s Employee Volunteerism program will be honored as the Allina Scoreboard Keeper of the Game, and Peter and Jean-Marie Ulland will be recognized as our SeatGeek Fans of the Game. Additionally, German shepherd mix Rosie will be honored as the NutriSource SuperStar. MNUFC will also honor Anna Waugh of Mississippi Park Connection as the Target L'Étoile du Nord and Cody Affolter of the Minnesota Army National Guard as the Xcel Energy Eye of the Loon.

Pop It and Drop It
Make sure to pop and drop the pop tabs from your canned beverages at Allianz Field. Collection bins for pop tabs are available throughout the stadium on the side of trash bins. Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community, as we raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Upper Midwest. Pop tab collection bins will also be available outside the gates of Allianz Field if you’d like to bring tabs from home.
Reduce Your Waste with Biz Recycling and WM Organics
Help Allianz Field limit the amount of waste produced on gamedays by sorting your waste into the Biz Recycling and WM organics, recycling or trash receptacles.
Ecolab Water Stations
As part of a stadium-wide water sustainability effort in partnership with Ecolab, MNUFC has six water bottle refill stations around the concourse sections 9, 15, 21, 25, 30, and 36. Bring in empty, clear plastic bottles to use at the water stations. They're not sensor activated, so make sure to press the button to save the planet and your dignity.
